The course is comprised of 12 units based on the following; The UK Tourism industry, Customer Service, Location Geography, UK Tourism Travel Industry, Preparing for employment, Resort Representative, Travel and Tourism itineraries, Package Travel and Tourism Products, Promotional materials, Accessible travel, recommending holidays to suit customers' needs and Providing information on a tourist destination You will learn by completing projects, assignments and online tests that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands.
Study of Maths and English will be required as well as mandatory work experience.
You will gain key business skills and industry knowledge relevant to an exciting range of careers within the sector.
London is one the world’s leading tourist destinations and home to some of the leading international tourism companies.
There will be an additional £250 fee attached to this study programme to cover the cost of trips – this will be payable on enrolment; further details will be given at interview.
You will be required to wear a uniform for a minimum of one day a week which costs £20. If you are aged 16-18, tuition fees, exam fees and College membership are free.
